Accessibility Statement
Last updated: August 2026
1. Our commitment
DebtForge is operated by OP Solutions Ltd. We are committed to making DebtForge usable by as many people as possible, including people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification, voice control, or other assistive technology.
Debt is stressful enough without a website getting in the way. If any part of DebtForge is difficult for you to use, we want to hear about it and we will help you get what you need — see Section 6.
2. Standard we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. These guidelines are the international benchmark for accessible web content and are the standard commonly referenced in connection with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
3. Current conformance status
DebtForge is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
"Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not fully meet the standard. We are stating this plainly rather than claiming full conformance, because we have not yet completed a formal third-party audit and we know of specific gaps. Those gaps are listed in Section 5.
This assessment is based on our own internal review of the site and toolkit. It has not been independently verified.
4. What we have done
- Semantic, standard HTML. Pages are built from real headings, lists, buttons, links and form fields rather than unlabelled generic elements, so assistive technology can announce them correctly.
- Keyboard operation. Interactive elements are native controls that can be reached and activated with a keyboard, and every dialog and pop-up can be dismissed with the Escape key.
- Declared page language. Every page declares English, so screen readers use the correct pronunciation.
- Text alternatives. Meaningful images carry descriptive text, and decorative graphics and icons are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise.
- No motion or media traps. There is no auto-playing audio or video, no carousels that move on their own, and no flashing content.
- No time limits. Nothing in the toolkit expires while you are working on it, so you can take as long as you need to enter your figures.
- No pop-up cookie banner. Our cookie disclosure lives on the Privacy Policy page, so no overlay blocks the content you came for.
- Zoom and reflow. Layouts are responsive and are intended to remain usable when text is enlarged or the browser is zoomed.
- A manual path for every AI feature. Every AI-assisted feature — including bank-statement scanning — has a manual entry alternative, so no part of the toolkit depends on a single input method.
5. Known limitations
We are aware of the following issues. We are working on them, and we will update this page as they are fixed.
- Low-contrast secondary text. Some supporting text — footer links, fine print, and certain captions — is rendered in a muted grey that may fall below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio WCAG requires. The primary content and controls are not affected, but this text may be hard to read.
- No skip-to-content link. Keyboard and screen-reader users currently have to tab through the site navigation on each page before reaching the main content. Landmark navigation can be used as a workaround in the meantime.
- Focus handling in dialogs. Our dialogs and pop-ups close with the Escape key, but they do not yet confine keyboard focus to the dialog while it is open, and they do not always return focus to the control you opened them from.
- Charts and visualisations. The Priority Map, Payoff Sequence and Tracker present results visually. The underlying numbers are shown as text on the same screens, but the charts themselves do not yet expose a full accessible description of their trends.
- PDF exports. PDFs generated by our export feature are not tagged for screen readers, so their reading order may not be reliable. If you need an accessible version of an export, email us and we will provide the same information in another format.
- Third-party components. Some parts of the experience are provided by external services — Stripe for checkout and billing, and Cloudflare for the bot-protection challenge on our sign-in and signup forms. We do not control the accessibility of those components.
- Testing coverage. We have not yet tested every screen against every combination of browser, operating system and assistive technology, and we have not commissioned an independent audit.
6. Feedback and getting help
If you encounter a barrier on DebtForge, or you need information from the site in a different format, please email us at debtforge@opsols.net.
It helps if you can tell us:
- The page or feature where you ran into the problem.
- What you were trying to do.
- The assistive technology, browser and device you were using, if you know.
We aim to respond within 5 business days. If a barrier is stopping you from completing something in the toolkit, tell us what you were trying to do and we will help you do it another way while we work on a fix.
7. Review
We review this statement whenever we make a significant change to the site or the toolkit, and at least once a year. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent review.
